A LITTLE PRAYER
Father, forgive me - I didn’t know. Redeem my fallibility. Father, forgive me - I knew. Restore the good undone, and renew my imagination to see you, myself, and my neighbor anew.
A LITTLE HOMILY
If the message of the Old Testament prophets could be summed up in one word it might be “repent.” This was also John the Baptist’s message. And then Jesus’ message. Repentance is painful - always. Repentance is painful because it is the process of saying No to the kingdom of this world and Yes to the kingdom of heaven.
