To be a faithful disciple of Jesus is to share the gospel with someone, somewhere.
A LITTLE PRAYER
I’m really not good at this, evangelism. But I hear your invitation, your desire, your (dare I say it?) need for my participation. And I say Yes, I’m here, you can send me. I speak; help my misspeaking. I act; help my misacts.
A LITTLE HOMILY
I once heard a preacher quote a Catholic nun saying, “Evangelism is introducing a person.” Like Isaiah saw the Lord and received his commission, is there any basis for evangelism other than our personal encounter with the Lord? And is evangelism anything other than facilitating personal introductions with the Lord?
